To all U.S. Bariatric Patients,

We are hearing more and more that postoperative patients have a decreased tolerance to alcohol.  This could result in greater risk for alcohol intoxication and alcohol related health and legal consequences.  Presently there is little known or published regarding the changes in alcohol tolerance after bariatric surgery.

Your help would be greatly appreciated to influence the care of bariatric patients on a national and international level.  Please complete and submit this survey by Tuesday, November 8th.  Responses are confidential and I will be the only one viewing your personal results.  Group totals and findings of this study will be forwarded to you when complete.

It is not necessary to provide your name if you prefer to remain anonymous, but please provide all other information and answer as honestly as possible.

Thank you in advance for taking a moment to provide the following information.
